Isabell Steinseifer received her Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Siegen, Germany, in October 2008. Her Master’s thesis on cosmic rays for the Pierre Auger Observatory included data reconstruction and analysis. In January 2009 she started working in the Biomedical MR research group as a Marie Curie Fellow of the FAST – Research and Training Network, with Arend Heerschap as her supervisor. Her PhD subject is sequence and pulse development, mainly focused on fast x-nuclei magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy. Since the FAST network ended end 2010, her project is now funded by NWO middelgroot 40-00506-90-0602 and NWO BIG (VISTA).
