Anke van der Eerden
Anke van der Eerden is a neuroradiologist and a PhD candidate at the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group. She works on the project 'Evaluation of Injury in Brain Trauma' supervised by Bozena Góraj, Rashindra Manniesing, Pieter Vos (Slingeland) and Marcel Twickler (Antwerp University Hospital), in collaboration with Damien Galanaud, Vincent Perlbarg, Louis Puybasset (Hôpital Pitié Salpêtrière), Marnix Maas and Thomas van den Heuvel. Currently her research focuses on susceptibility weighted imaging and diffusion tensor imaging in traumatic brain injury.
Anke qualified as a medical doctor at Radboud University Nijmegen in 2006. She was a resident in neurology and in radiology at Radboud university medical center, Nijmegen, where she qualified as a radiologist in 2014. She spent one year of her residency at the department of Neuroradiology of Hôpital Pitié Salpêtrière in Paris, where beside her clinical work her collaboration on diffusion tensor imaging studies in traumatic brain injury was initiated. In 2016 she finished her fellowship in neuroradiology and head and neck radiology at Radboud university medical center, Nijmegen.
