Frédérique Meeuwsen
Pathologist and Postdoctoral Researcher
Frédérique Meeuwsen is a visiting pathology resident from Erasmus MC in Rotterdam. She studied Medicine at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. After graduation in 2014, she obtained a PhD in Biomechanical Engineering at the University of Technology in Delft, mainly focusing on monitoring medical devices to improve efficiency and workflow in the operating room. In 2019 she entered the Pathology residency program in Rotterdam and in 2024 she joined the Computational Pathology Group in Nijmegen. During a 6-month differentiation internship, she will focus on deep learning, and the morphology and genetic classification of diffuse gliomas. Supervision by Jeroen van der Laak and Max Kros (neuropathologist at Erasmus MC).
