Giacomo Nunziati

Visiting Researcher

Giacomo Nunziati is a PhD student at the University of Siena (Italy), and he is currently a visiting PhD at Radboudumc. He received a Master’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Automation Engineering (cum laude) in 2022 with a thesis on Continual Learning Architectures. His primary research focus is in computer vision, with a particular emphasis on medical imaging. In his previous work, he has contributed to projects involving surveillance video analysis and medical video analysis. Under the supervision of Henkjan Huisman, he is starting a new research project aimed at leveraging multimodal information encoded in the DICOM standard to enhance the accuracy of prostate MRI sorting algorithms.
