Mehmet Dalmis
Mehmet U. Dalmis is a PhD candidate at the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group of the Radboud university medical center since May, 2013. He is working on multimodal imaging for breast cancer, automated analysis of DCE MR images of the breast tissue and the relation between contrast agent uptake kinetics of the breast tissue and histopathology obtained from specimen x-rays and digital pathology. This study, which is supervised by Albert Gubérn-Merida, Jonas Teuwen, Ritse Mann and Nico Karssemeijer, is a part of VPH-PRISM project funded under European Union FP7 ICT. In 2005 he received his Bachelor degree from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Middle East Technical University. After graduation he worked as software engineer until he started his Master's program at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, Bogazici University in 2011. He received his Master's degree from this institute with his thesis "Similarity and Consistency Analysis of Functional Connectivity Maps" in 2013.
